Assets
Recording what you own, attaching the paperwork, and keeping it current. Everything is encrypted on your device before it leaves.
An asset is anything you want to pass on: a bank account, a flat, a crypto wallet, a policy, a cupboard full of jewellery, an email account nobody else can get into.
Each one is filed by category and type, valued, and can carry supporting documents. The details and the files are encrypted in your browser before upload, which is why you have to unlock the vault first.
Adding one
Three steps: category, then type, then the details. The fields change with what you picked, because a bank account and a plot of land do not need the same information.
Start with the things nobody else knows about. A joint bank account will be found without your help; a hardware wallet in a drawer will not.
Attaching documents
Deeds, statements, certificates, policy documents. These are the things an executor otherwise has to hunt for.
Editing
Values drift. An estate recorded once and never revisited is worth less than one kept roughly current.
Deleting
Delete from the asset card in the vault list, using the menu on the card itself.
Prefer the card menu over the asset detail page for deleting, and for adding an asset to DigiWish. Doing either from the detail page currently clears the vault's categories and DigiWish allocations for every asset in that vault.
